REVERB is designed to help organizations get the most out of their communications activities by better aligning BOTH online and on-the ground organizing, and by building the knowledge and skills to take advantage of online tools with the key ingredient – that meaningful data does matter.
This training will help participants learn how to:
- Use and design your emails to get your constituents to pay attention to your messages
- Use and design your website to better engage your audience
- Use Twitter in appropriate ways for your organizing and communication campaigns
- Use Facebook in ways to enhance your outreach efforts for your organizing and communications
- Write an “elevator pitch” for use on your website and other communications
- Use imagery to tell your story
- Use video to tell your story to a targeted audience
- How to integrate communications technology for your overall campaign strategies
- Be agile in planning your communications using workflows and other planning tools
- Improve your collection of meaningful data and learn how data can inform your communications strategies and your technology choices to effectively engage your constituents
- Implement your communication strategies using PowerBase / CiviCRM (Day 3 only)
So which training option should you choose?
- Select the 2-Day Training option if you are NOT using PowerBase or CiviCRM
- Select the 3-Day Training option if you use PowerBase or CiviCRM, where you will learn how to implement the communication strategies you learned in the first 2 days of the training.
OPTIONAL Consulting/coaching/technical assistance: Organizations have the option of receiving 1 to 5 hours of help from members of the PTP staff after the training for an additional fee of $100 per hour or may be included as part of your Partner subscription if you use PowerBase. The PTP team includes individuals with extensive expertise in strategic communications, technology, organizing, and fundraising. More information coming soon.
