Organizing, Communicating and Fundraising with PowerBase in New York City September 10-11, 2014

Registration is closed for this event

Are you in this to win? Do you want to take your work to another level?
Do you want to be more effective at raising funds?

If so, then join us for our PowerBase training in New York City on September 10-11.

You'll spend time with PTP's experienced technologists who also happen to be experienced organizers. We understand your work and are ready to help you use PowerBase to keep on winning. But winning, while hugely important, is just part of it. Since you're in it for the long haul, we know you are also developing leaders, communicating with your communities and raising money to sustain your work.

PTP conducted a fundraising pilot where PowerBase integration was key. The results? Success! Some of the pilot organizations doubled their goals. They added new donors and increased the amount of their donations from the previous year. PowerBase played a huge part of their efforts by helping them approach their goals in an integrated manner.

Working with our team you'll learn skills like using data to turn out people to your events, tracking leadership development and membership activities, sending out mass emails, conducting surveys and more. Since collecting data and using it is only part of it, we'll also learn about the different reporting features in PowerBase. We can then analyze and make sense of your data by using PowerBase's built-in and customizable reports.

NOTE: CiviCRM is the database that PowerBase is built upon. If you are a CiviCRM user and wish to attend, you can register for this training. Most of the PowerBase features are available to all CiviCRM users. This does not mean, however, that your CiviCRM installation will actually have all the features that PowerBase offers. Please contact us if you have question on this.

Join us this September in New York City to and learn from our powerhouse team of experienced PowerBase organizers and trainersSign up here.

Here's what we'll be covering:

We'll have three different tracks as well as time where we'll all be together, learning from everyone's experiences. You are able to choose the track that fits you the best. In every track we'll learn by having the concepts explained followed by us demonstrating them. Then you'll apply it on your own computer. We'll have written materials to support your learning. You will have time to talk with a PowerBase trainer about your specific work as well as connect with other PowerBase users to learn from each other.

The three tracks:

  1. Fundamentals of Organizing with PowerBase for those newer to PowerBase
We’ll cover the major areas of PB such as tracking your interactions with constituents, setting up and managing events, setting up and sending mass emails, and much more.
  2. Communication and Advanced Topics in Organizing with PowerBase
We will cover topics such as email list management strategies, email templates, importing, SMS, deduping and more.
  3. Fundraising in PowerBase
We’ll go deeper into how to use PowerBase to monitor and boost your grassroots fundraising.

If you are organizing your community, mobilizing your base, fundraising, organizing events or doing communications in your organization, then this training is for you.
